Dear Charita,
I want to notify you that we received the shipment a few days ago on October 7th. We also were a bit thrilled and excited. The container is of great quality, and everything our beneficiaries need is there. We can't wait to distribute it among them. I am sure they will be as delighted and happy as we are. We already started distributing this humanitarian aid to our partner organizations, and they also have events planned. We can't wait to send you pictures and videos. I am thankful to you, Charita, Kathy Cadden, and volunteers, and the United States Government, and all of who put this project together. We can't wait to share the result of our hard work with you.
Blessings,
Turpa
We loaded two trucks for our partner organization "Enguri 1" from Zugdidi City. The director of this organization is Mrs. Iruza Kakava, who herself is IDP from Abkhazia. She is also a member of the Zugdidi District Council and women's rights defender. She visited us with other members of the Council and deputy mayor of Zugdidi - Konstantine Kakava.
We gave humanitarian aid to our partner organization, "Macne" in Chkhorotsku Municipality. They visited socially vulnerable families and distributed humanitarian aid among them.
"Kolkheti" from Khobi Municipality. They already did some distribution events, and we are waiting for more pictures, for now, we have pictures of grandmother to whom we gifted wheelchair. She was thrilled, and so were her relatives. As they could not afford it and didn't have it for several years, they were relieved and delighted to receive one.
This 12 years old girl has never walked in her whole life. For the first time, she took the first steps while using a walker, which we gifted her. Now she is learning how to walk thanks to Kathy Cadden and Operation Ukraine.
Our next beneficiary was Orsantia, located in Zugdidi Municipality. We dropped by the village's kindergarten and brightened children's day as we gave them their most desired gifts. We also visited the village's outpatient clinic and delivered medical supplies and necessities to them.
Our partner organization 'Toliskuri' held distributions in the village Torsa. They met villagers and also dropped by the village's kindergarten for orphans and gifted them clothes, shoes, toys and other necessities.
Mrs. Iruza also visited the village Orulu, where she met preschoolers in the kindergarten and later, socially vulnerable families, as well as families with many children. On top of that, she also went to see our disabled beneficiaries. They all received the items, equipment, and clothes they needed the most.
Our partner organization 'Toliskuri' continues holding distribution events. This time they visited IDP settlement in the village Torsa and delivered humanitarian aid to IDPs from Abkhazia.
Khurcha in Zugdidi Municipality, where preschoolers in the village's kindergarten were visited. They were gifted with toys, which made them happy. A visit was paid to one of the residents of this village, who is bedridden and needs special care. He received a bed, which was a massive relief for the family as they needed it.
Our partner organization 'Toliskuri' will be opening Day Care Center for children with disabilities in Khobi on November 17. We gave them toys, clothing, and other items they requested, and 'Toliskuri' distributed it among the children.
We recently visited the village Koki, which is one of those five villages we are going to visit in the upcoming days. In one of the villages, we visited the village kindergarten and gifted toys to the children,
Ont he same trip, later on we visited socially vulnerable and distributed clothing and shoes to them and lastly,
Mrs. Iruza delivered medical supplies to the village outpatient clinic., she paid a visit to 5 bedridden elders and gifted them diapers and other necessities and equipment. She has many more to visit and we will send you pictures gradually.

December 3rd was the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. To celebrate it, we visited the Children's Day Care Center in Khobi municipality, which was created with our help and support. We gifted kids hats, gloves, other necessary clothes for winter, as well as toothpaste & brush and other hygiene items and of course, toys. It was a joyful day for all of us.
Best wishes, Turpa
Our organization recently visited the family of Lado Jojua, whose house was partially burnt down by fire. We, together with Zugdidi Municipality Council members, assisted Mr. Lado and his family and provided them with bedding, clothes, baby cot bed and other necessities.
