Note from Recipients: We received your donation on March 29, 2019. Thank you is not big enough of a word, hopefully this video will show our gratitude and appreciation. Distributions in village Torsa, Khobi Municipality, Georgia. We visited kindergartens, orphanages, and socially vulnerable families. We are still in the middle of distributions, several other organizations are working with us in this process. THANK YOU.
Freah is a girl, 11th grader that lives in Ugornyky village, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine she is a good girl. Although originally she was born into a loving family, when her father a kind educated man died, her mother couldn't stand her. Eventually, her mother wanted a new life and kicked out this young girl out of their house. Since then she lived with different families for two years. At this time she lives her disabled uncle.'s right now. Freah is a good student and dreams of a good life without fighting and hatred.
Her School teachers reached out to the church of Christ in Ivano-Frankivsk with a request to help her. We visited this school and met with Freah and discovered the girl did not have clothes or shoes to wear. She said she was embarrassed to wear patched and worn out clothes that are now too small, but she had no choice. We had some money with us and bought her a jacket and jeans from the funds available at our congregation. We found a new pair of shoes that were shipped in a container from John Morrison. We thought we had distributed all shoes but then discovered by the grace of God this remaining pair that was precisely the size Freah needed!.
Freah is thanking American Christians for help. In this video, you see the things she picked out herself and wept for joy!”
Humanitarian Aid delivered to Cameroonian Refugee camps in Nigeria and ready for distribution.
